Nice to see Cage in a good role but Tye Sheridan is really somebody to watch. And the bum they got off some Austin-corner to play his dad (Gary Poulter) is impressive too. Movie is OK to good with some great scenes but eventually to predictable.

The Bandit

On a scale of 1 to The Wicker Man, how is his inevitable freak out?

EaterofBirds

Out of the Furnace was one of the few newer movies I almost walked out on. Predictable to a T...the only redeeming factors were never fully developed. Cliche and suckage is all I got out of the steamer.

Watched Blue Ruin finally yesterday...Loved it.

Subtle..smartly written and directed and violent as hell.

Somewhere around 5. No real freak out but the scene in which he brings his bulldog to the whorehouse is funny in a fucked up way.

If I had a dollar for every girl that found me unattractive they would eventually find me attractive.

Lots of good violence, but I thought the prequel, Outrage was a lot better.

Instant Dan

I can't believe I waited so long to see this movie.

You can tell how many movies were influenced by Jacob's Ladder and this after they both came out. It come across as cheesy by today's standards but I can see how this was revolutionary for it's time. Mickey Rourke could have really been something.

Ah, I skipped over this movie after watching another H&G movie that had some teen actors in it. I made it less than 10 minutes into that cheesy film, and it was so bad, I refused to watch this one. :D

Me thinks I need to give it a chance.
Oh Andy I'm gonna go over to mount pilot and worship Satan

I thought it was pretty much, not good.

The Bandit

It's not a good movie, but it is entertaining. Apparently the unrated DVD adds 10 mins of violence-I'm trying to track it down.

Bro. Righteous

Yeah, I know it's old(er) however, A light/hard comedy romp which I enjoyed, if your a fan of
Giamatti (spell that right?)....
and a drinker of fine wines, this is awesome, fuck, I'll throw this in for my latest lady
mid-summer afternoon, cork some bottles and cork some more - you dig. Ha!

One of the few movies I'll keep in disc and watch incessantly, or drink and watch
incessantly, win-win either way, it gets drippy, Haden Church is great in this giving
lots of comic relief...but give'er a go. Well done.
10/10

Bro. Righteous

Ha! It's funny I think it has more to do w/moving to Niagara country (St. Catharines)...which is big
wine country here - and divorcing
after 13-blissful years w/the woman...just faded-out I suppose, and I moved back to Toronto, got
the band together, rented a 24/7 studio and saw this DVD on the Lakeshore in a flea market and
bought for $5...didn't think much of it but man, it hit home.

Btw, my avater pic is my new girlfriend - so take that ex! ha!
My ex was a Naked News achor I think most people here know, regardless, I'm happier
and the settlement monies was a bonus!...c'mon smiley!   ;D
