Title: Slow Mover, Uncle Pooch, Devil Hunt Me Down
Post by: Swurve on June 30, 2013, 01:43:56 PM
Played with these cats on Friday night. Fucking heavy, goodness.
Slow Mover - Boston
Somehow I thought they would be slower..Shit was a high octane enema with a lead slug chaser. 4 peice with dueling guitar action, and some truly lethargic sections that tremble the backs of your kneecaps. Sweet band with a sweet van that I suspect they stole from a group of the elderly. Their record is on vinyl and looks dope.

Uncle Pooch
I decided these guys are like Seattle's Keelhaul. More talent than I am ever going to hope to have, and hope I never have to play after them.. Mathy, interesting, evil, and above all fucking fun to watch. Huge noises and some impossible time changes. These guys are a new favorite of mine.

Devil Hunt Me Down
Groovilicious. Purity of the riff. Not breaking tremendous new ground musically, but fucking tight and LOUD. Killer vocals, sweet guitar tones, and they put on a great show. Guitarist was all over the place. Cheesing out some leg kicks, hair flips, and pelvic thrusts.
