Could get interesting this Feb. as the teaser just dropped. I like Garland's visionary style and hopefully the CGI doesn't weigh it down, as it is obviously leaned on in the trailer.

It's part of a trilogy, so in the right hands, could be good. Looking forward to it.

Just got out of this. Wow.

Highly recommend seeing this [quickly, as it's tailing off ticket sales-wise] on the large screen. Skip the IMAX bullshit and just find something big and with good sound and comfy seats.

Was totally engrossed from the second it lit up, til the credits rolled. Garland landed a beautiful, heady, interesting science fiction nu-masterpiece. No spoilers, but if you're looking for mindless psedu sci-fi, move right along, this one is deeper than that.

Trailer looks good. Afterwards, Youtube suggested the video "Ending of Annihilation Explained" and it's 9 minutes long  :o

This remains my favorite film of 2018 at this point. Cronenberg body horror crossed with Tarkovsky mindfuck conceptual scifi. Movies like this and LOGAN are rare miracles in our modern cinematic era: hard R sci fi movies that are bound to piss audiences off and yet require significant budgets to properly realize.
