MIke Watt, the man is in his 50's and puts the rest of us to shame. Of course he has all those years of contacts behind him too. Wonder if he booked it all himself or has someone do it for him?

WTF he must be a logistics genius, holy shit.
No good deed goes unpunished.

No shit, but that will be crazy grueling. Glad he decided to book some mid-tour days off after 5 solid weeks playing every day.

he is actually known for being just that on tour. Reading his tour schpeils offers many a good lesson. Things like "always stay on the side of town nearest the direction you will be traveling next so you dont have to drive thru morning rush hour traffic the next day"
wisdom.

I'll never forget after a firehose show, the band finished their last song and I turned around ot leave but  before I could even get to the exit, Watt had lept off the stage and was blocking the door to the exit insisting on shaking each and everyone one of our hands before we left. what a guy. made a big impression on me.

Very well plotted out tour.  I wonder how much he will Gross and Net on that tour?

He's been through here a few times, and unfortunately not done well in terms of turnout.  He's more of a college town type draw I think.  Great shows.  Word on the street is that all of his tours make money, but I think that I read that before the gas hike, so now things might be a little closer to breaking even.
Vinyls.   deal.

tomz.

So stoked, he's coming to Madison  :).

Watt's the man.  In 1993 he signed a dollar bill for me at a Firehose show, I pasted it on my first bass case.  The bass and case are long gone, but Watt's still kickin'.
