So i have been looking at some of the "new" Kustom and Acoustic Brand heads and cabs for bass just out of my own curiousity(not buying). I am impressed with the Kustom DE300HD head and KB200H head. Acoustic has the B200 and B600 and what appears to be a half decent 8x10.
The prices for both brands are  reasonable enough. I think i read that the were made by the same company and not American made(whatever that is).

So does anyone here use either brand? What models? What are the issues if any? Thanks.

I've heard negative things about the road-worthiness of the new Acoustic stuff (as you might guess, the Los Angeles company is long, long gone and whoever bought-owns the imprint in recent times started having stuff made overseas with undoubtedly the cheapest components possible). I dunno about the "new" Kustom stuff but I'll admit I don't have much faith...

Actually they are re-releasing the acoustic 470 with modern improvements but its being done by some guy that used to work for the old acoustic.  Theres some acoustic amps forum where they are raving about the prototypes.

Believe that is the forum and theres some posts in there somewhere about it.

The NEW USA 360 and the 360 Mini.
The 360 is a preamp, and the cabs are powered just like the old ones.
I think I remember reading, you can run 4 of those powered cabs off one one 360 preamp.

No I don't know this guy...Only picture I could find with the new USA AC line.

Still have a new Acoustic B200H.

Sounded great and was pretty loud for a modest 200w.

Roadworthy? Hell no. Mine stopped working and it's probably not even worth getting fixed.

Those things on the top ARE vents. Watch your beer. But it ran fine for a long time after that discovery. When it actually stopped working, I know not.

I will not ever pay 6k for one amp. Not unless it can power 1 cab per thousand dollars, that is.
