La Grange is so tiny, i am going to sit in Mike's lap for the show.

Can't believe Yob is playing with Acid King in San Fran... that's such a solid bill!
I could play Stairway to Heaven when I was twelve... Jimmy Page didn't actually write it until he was twenty-two... I think that says quite a lot..

Metal and Beer

Little Rock might be more soliderer !
"Would it kill you fellas to play some Foghat?"

khoomeizhi

Can not wait. Little Rock, Alaska will be leveled by the power of this show.

Just got tickets for the Chicago show.  Flying in tomorrow for business.  What a great coincidence...

Too bad I won't be able to hear for my Thurs/Fri training sessions.

Post that in Gen. Discussion for more views. Maybe you can hijack MadJohhShaft's Viking kitchen and take it for a joyride ;)
Rock & Roll is background music for teenagers to fuck to.

Just got back from the Chicago show at the Beat Kitchen.

Yob has great CDs, but live, they are crushing!  I'm so glad I went.  The venue had great sound and it was plenty loud.  Third song was Kosmos and it was a real treat to hear that one at proper decibels.  They did about an hour and thirty-ish minutes including one encore.

The place was packed.  I made it in half way through the second act.  It was hard to find a place not by the door that leads from the bar to the room.  On a random note, Chicago folks have some awesome band t-shrits.

If you have a chance to see this show.... GO!

On a side note, leave your chatty girlfriends at home.  Why do people go to see bands that are really loud and insist on having conversations the whole time?  You need to do your 'splainin' about meaningless crap out in the street.  Kind of kills the quiet parts.

Still, awesome show.

yeah, we had a few of those chatty types here at the Arizona gig last night.

Still was so awesome!  Obviously, they can only play so many songs in their allotted time but I presume they focus on their last 3 cds.  Not that I am complaining as anything they play live is so freaking good.  8)
