Ridiculous.  The show is good. Stop now.

To be fair I have never seen it as I don't have cable or satellite reception in my StonerRock home because I'm a Rebel*

CanookieWookie

I would bet you would find at least some of it likeable.  Besides the titties.

MadJohnShaft

I just told my remote control to play Vinyl episode two on HBO and then the TV played it

Killer suggestion, stooge.
I have a blu-ray that does the Amazon, Netflix, HULU and stuff, but I will certainly look into the places you suggested.
Thanks!

I would watch something good before this silly show.

The Warhol stand-in was just terrible. If they're going to portray famous rock stars then they need to give us informed characterizations.   They are all poorly done so far.

The punk band Nasty Bits? They could easily have made real songs for them to play. Those songs are awful.

I like the first 'crowd riot' song when Blondie first sees them though.

Pretty trite approach at 1973.  I'll probably keep watching but it's pretty stupid now.  I mean the "Nasty Bits" doesn't inspire any danger and the approach is bordering on offensively vanilla when you consider the bands they're supposed to be paralleling.  Clearly they're going to homogenize and crowbar in some kind of stupid hip-hop element to all of this which I'm sure will be just as vanilla and fucking stupid too.

Alice Cooper can really hold a grudge.

agreed
it is real silly with all that punk and even hip hop already happening in 73
when that guy was djing  i was thinking "please don´t start scratching now"
they shhold have set it in like 76
would have made much more sense
i didn´t forget - i just couldn´t remember...

Tell me more about these.

I thought last night's episode was the best one yet....and I have been on the fence about the show even though I like it and not critiquing as hard as our beloved MJS. I thought the guy who played Alice did a good job.

Crispin Glover should have played Warhol though.

   Silly.

I'll just keep watching Musikladen/Beat Club/Midnight Special/Old Grey Whistle Test.

just google ("watch ____ online free")
usually putlocker and vidbull work best
you have to click a loads of ads away but finally you´ll get to the stream
not all of them work though sometimes you gotta try a few til you succeed

Okay, Alice Cooper was introduced ala "Dewey Cox".

The Julie A&R character is a damn annoying cartoonish person.  But at least they put an Olivia Wilde tit in every episode.

Can you tell your remote control to fast-forward to the titties?

True, and we saw how much of a dumbass he is, and how he almost ruined it for the Nasty Bits

Yes, and since it's in one of the descriptions about the show, it shouldn't be surprising.

I'm not sure what you expected, but I think it's done a pretty decent job of portraying a record company in '73.

sleestak

I expected more and I'm not sure why you're offended.  I don't like it, no big deal.
