Besides that an SVTII (non pro)
Small stone phaser
Fulltone fat booster
Gibson SG or les paul

Those Dan Electro tape echoes sound GREAT for the price tag. Why not just buy an Agile, Burny, Tokai, Edwards, etc, Dean?
which one?

Lord knows I'm not a cork sniffer, but for some reason I want an actual Gibson if I'm going to get a Les Paul.

A band.  Chances of findinf other people to play rock/metal/stoner/doom with where I live is pretty much nil though :(

Otherwise I would love to buy the following:

Marshall JMP 2204
Zenta speaker and cab to match my Dad's shitty guitar! ;D
Gibson SG special with P90s
Gibson Firebird

The lack of a band, plus too many guitars and amps sat doing nothing already means I am highly unlikely to get another guitar or amp.  Allow myself a pedal now and then for fun.  I want a Pharaoh next!

Orkney islands, far north of Scotland.  I can probably retire for good I think!  Would rather not play at all than go back to doing AC/DC covers... ::)

its possible but they are pretty close in terms of preamp, the Fog Machine will have more gain and the tonestack from a Hiwatt Dr103 but modded with an extra control and also 4 x Kt88 while the gt120 will be 4 x EL34 and be NMV

mutantcolors

LOL

I guess you don't mean a fog machine.

nah nah sorry but i can see the confusion as i didnt provide a context. That would be nuts amps + fogger. I own a fog machine of sorts but never use it. I hate the stupid smelling stuff it produces

bitter

That's what I was thinking too.  :)  I'm not too familiar with the fog machine (amp), mainly I was under the impression it was just a title for some variant of OR/EA/Matamp
Oh Andy I'm gonna go over to mount pilot and worship Satan

dunwichamps

yea thats not an awful guess

Right now I am planning on a 4 x KT88 amp using Model T iron from Merc with a matamp preamp, hiwatt Dr103 tone stack and one additional drive stage to improve drive to output tubes

ryansummit

im seriously wanting the vht 6w tube combo
to annoy my gf with while she watches rupauls drag race
anyone have any exp. wth these
i was lookin in the backhole
seemed solid but it whispered "made in china" in my ear
it seems solid and the lack of knobs is so sexy

dunwichamps

probably not any better or worse than amps made in china. Fine for "lower" volume level playing. 6W is still loud, I have a SE El34 amp maybe 7W or less. Can still shake my room around through a 4x12

ryansummit

sorry if i confused it actually said m.i.c. on back
you probly know that
it sounded real nice low in the store
store lady wouldnt let me crank it
but i most likely never will anyway
gettin that 200w randall this wknd for cranksville
if i ever make it past 4
i live in a quiet town
loud noises scare the crackheads

Upon inspection out of curiosity, those look like a killer deal.

You'll be surprised at the (lack of) volume difference between a 6w and a 100w. Something like half the volume, just a little less. Dunwich can provide you the logarithmic db math iffin' you don't believe that.

dunwichamps

10W would be ~half as loud as a 100W at the middle of the bandwidth, working with numbers
