I watch it but I was a little disappointed in the last season I feel the show has gradually declined each season (like Heroes did) I am giving the new season 5 episodes to wow me or I'm quitting. The FIRST season of True Blood is almost required viewing though its so good.

Although if the redhead starts getting naked I'll never stop watching it. Ever.

+1 on the redhead. I liked last season because of the King of Mississippi, Russell. He was fun.

Last night's episode was a big WTF? And in more of a this show sucks now, not a wtf this is awesome way.

I actually really liked Russell I thought he was one of the better parts I found his banter with his gay partner hilarious. I didn't like the whole thing with Tara and that weirdo (mostly because Tara morphed from a strong character to a weakling overnight) and I didn't care for the entire Jason plotline (in the first season Jason was the fucking man). I also found them having Bill turn out to be a spy to be an unbelievable plot twist in the sense that Sookie is a rather emphathetic character and I think she could forgive Bill as she OBVIOUSLY has his undying love (god that sentence sounded gay) but seriously it struck me as a little off character. (lots of people disagree with me on that from people I've talked too) but its like they've been through so much why is she doubting he loves her at this point they've saved each other like 10x.

I like the supporting cast of this show more then the main characters. The Vietnam vet cook and his dopey wife, Lafayette and Andy are all great. Gonna watch the new one tonight probably.

this is one of the best show on vampires yet and really my favorite. I always watch repeat episodes on internet. I m addicted to this show.

I loved the first season, and stuck through the second season.

This last episode, I have to agree with the WTF! category. I'm no longer sure I will be making any special effort to watch this show anymore. I used to make it a ritual, with a bottle of red wine, to watch. I may just watch this season every once and a while if I think of it.

Okay, I'll give it one more episode.

I felt the same way and a friend of mine watched the advanced screening of episode 2 and said it's much better. The first 10 minutes was extremely gay and not in the good way.

Saw the new one bit of a weird episode. I got all excited that Gary Cole was gonna be in the show then bam

They really need to stop doing the cliffhanger ending every episode its getting a little formulaic.

The second episode was fantastic. Made me say "holy shit" out loud when it finished. Also, I'm liking how Jessica is getting a little more promiscuous. Things are looking up.

I'm only holding out for Jessica titties at this point. Other than that I agree with the sentiment that the show has been in a serious nose dive since the end of the first season. Also, Eric is the only character I actually like. They kill him off and odds are I'll get bored pretty quickly. We'll see.

Jessica getting naked was the only highlight. Otherwise a big disappointment.

that 36 gifs thing was awesome. I just got done ram-jamming the 1st 4 seasons of this shit. I twanged my bad shoulder overdoing it out in the yard as usual and "silver chained" myself to a chair for a few days.

I knew nothing about the show details itself before I started watching the sequence.

I think the overall southern flavor was done well, especially the homes. the true blood premise was genius.
the storyline is definitely busy. in a way, the progression of bad guy from normal psycho dude through that goofball witch and fairyland led deeper into supernatural world.
decent plot twists. the fako vampire sex got old really fast, but I dig how they have them move superfast. incredible amount of nice breasts all throughout, including clothed. they did good there.

favorite characters so far to end of season 4: I like eric and his progeny. ex marine terry, Lafayette and dumb ass Jason. king of MS and his progeny were pretty funny. I laughed when she poured that glass urn of shit down the disposal heh.
looks like he got loose too at end of season 4

I see Reverend minicharliesheen is back. that chick that was his wife was super hot. I would choose her out of the whole cast if I could take one home with me haha.

the main character sookie actress is a very good actress. she has that little southern chick "needs to be told" shit going on. good job.

I am actually a little bored with the 2 main characters. I also kind of thought that that Jessica was going to get into all kinds of bogus youngster trouble, but it never happened.
too much relationship freakouts. turns it all into a bit of a cold blur trying to stay with the actual characters. but all this is minor really and no small feat to keep it cooking strong even 4 years.
Like 4-5 people had to mention the bacon grease is the secret to whatever shit they cooked up along the way haha. bacon lover producer evidently
those dyonisius orgies were borderline Hercules-xena level campiness. but that was really the only bad brush with total retardism they had that I can recall

favorite line: "you just killed my fairy godmother" and also eric's progeny with that quote that is in the 36 gif thing. I laughed my ass off

saddest moment of whole series was the fucking pecan pie. that was a beautifully crafted scene, especially with that setup freakout earlier with the pie back in the fridge scene

characters I want to kill: the redhead with demon baby, that tara chick
characters I wish didn't get killed: Jason's gf while they had that fag vampire in the basement

overall, not all that in a hurry to watch more, but that was a good series.
