Man, I've tried to get into Little Feat and they just don't do anything for me. They're right up there with The Grateful Dead in terms of bands "I just don't get". Maybe too rootsy or something? I'm not quite sure what the problem is, quite frankly.

That said, a band of great musicians, no doubt.

I remember a cousin of mine buying me a Grateful Dead cassette for Xmas when I was about 13. He's about 10 years older than me so I never figured out if he was a fan himself and trying to get me into them or if he just missed by a mile when trying to judge my music tastes. It left me stone cold. Played it once, never again.
