"I heard they shaved a gorilla"
i'd have to start doing meth again to get through that.
I consider the first episode to be a Christmas Classic and play it along side Charlie Brown and Rankin Bass.
I taped every episode from the first Xmas special until the 90s when the season started to come out on DVD I abandoned that project. Still have tapes.
Flaming Moes this morning

Haha...I did the same exact thing.
We were talking about these tapes last night - the fun part is all the 80s/90s commercials, Ads for hideous Fox TV, and news station promos about Bush I and Clinton era.
Parker Lewis Can't Lose was fucking awesome.

Yes it was. So was Herman's Head. Hank Azaria and Yeardley Smith were on that show.
It's a pornography store. I was buying pornography.
It's been a lot of fun watching the first several seasons sporadically, even though I've got the DVDs, it's still cool. Also seems like the episodes aren't slightly censored/edited like they usually are in syndication. So many great memories.
Those first couple of seasons are fantastic. And burned into my brain.
It was before Homer went Full Retard.
awww, look at that. you drew the stink lines and everything
Watched some last night at work. It really reminds me of the time an old room mate tried to find the meaning of life by watching every Simpsons episode, ever.
He didn't find it, so he decided to watch them all again. Last I heard, he was living in this girl's basement, drinking vodka until he was totally oblivious to everything.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen...
Fallen?
Sounds like he found just what he was looking for.
Homer-Style.
Watched a few last night, "Sunday Cruddy Sunday" was pretty good, but they're losing their momentum, at least compared to the earlier stuff. But I turned to my wife and said "Can you believe this episode debuted over 15 years ago?" Seems like a long time has passed since then.
Pinsky! Where's my poem?
There's three ways to do things; the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way!
Isn't that the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!
