Thought this would be a cool companion thread to Last Show/Next Show thread in Gen Discussion.
Last gig:
Last night Ocean of Stars @ Swan Dive downtown.
Went well, sounded great. Doing the residency over the summer has really paid off. Still tight even with one rehearsal since end of August.
Next gig:
Technically it's a private party duo gig with my former lady, backing her up as utility on her originals and covers.
But after that is a Thunderosa gig with Trinidad Leal (Dixie Witch, Honky) on drums!!!!! And we need a drummer, and he is looking for work \m/,
(Edit/update: damn Trinidad can't do the gig next Friday. Well poop.)

Last gig was a Halloween show with my surf band. We played one of the more popular places here in town and had a good turn out...especially for a Monday night. In my 25 years of playing it was actually the very first time that I had a Halloween show.
The next show is with my rock band at this new DIY "punk" place that opened up a few months ago. No stage and an 18 and up crowd...which is my favorite kind of show. It will also be the first show with the new guitarist so I'm really looking forward to it
I spent a chunk of the day at Kinkos making up flyers for some upcoming shows.
I absolutely love doing this stuff. I spent so much time at Kinkos in high school making zines and show flyers. So any chance that I get to do it now I don't hesitate

I should start doing that again, but I'll probably wait til after I've burned through all the NASA space tourism travel posters

Last gig:
Double header on Sunday. Deann Rene Band at Saxon Pub for her first Sunday residency, then Thunderosa at Dozen Street.
DRB gig was good tho the rain (which stopped as we were loading in) hindered the crowd a bit. Thunderosa gig was good considering. Loose as trying a new drummer and I haven't played guitar with them in awhile.
Next gig:
Picked up a gig downtown for tonight. There is a house bass rig, thank Crom and all that is holy. I don't even know who it's with hahaha. I could ask but I'll let it be a surprise. Standard covers.
