Title: Multieffect Pedalboard advice needed.
Post by: franksnbeans on February 09, 2018, 01:22:32 PM
I'm playing guitar in a new band and use lots of pedals. Sometimes they fuck up and give weird noises, or cords and power acts weird. As much as i like different sounding, boutique pedals, they're getting expensive.
I was thinking of investing in a multi-effect pedalboard.Has anyone here ever used a newer models and do you have any  recommendations?

You might need isolated power supply? Some pedals do better when they're not part of a daisy chain. Might help with power issues in random rooms.

What guitar you got?

I've got a voodoo power supply. I play a 2012 gibson flying v through a mesa boogie dual rectifier solo head. The clean channel is good, but the distortion channel seems very quiet.
I just got ordered a zoom g3n pedal. I hope that works a little.
I've tried the headrush multi effects pedalboard, but the sounds were not very unique and i didn't buy it because it's bery expensive.

Line 6 has some stuff that always interested me.  Check out the M series.
