Title: Roadsaw Record Release Show
Post by: colonic rocker on April 20, 2011, 07:37:42 PM
April 16th, Middle East Upstairs, Cambridge MA
Roadsaw gave up the headlining spot and instead played a nine song set, 2/3rds of which were brand new songs of their new CD on Small Stone simply titled Roadsaw. The good news is the new stuff is really good, a good deal more rockin' in total than See You in Hell, closer to Rawk n Roll with maybe a bit more 'professional' song writing. Really great riffs and solos to go along with the new songs, whole band played great, had their usual showmanship, and was an infectiously fun time for everyone. They also played two from See You... and closed the set with one of my favorite Roadsaw songs, Disconnected. Glad they are back with all their swagger intact.
Heard they will be doing some west coast shows with Orange Goblin.
Been listening to the new CD everyday since the show.

Yup...love the new album. Some serious jams and love the bass lines. I was supposed to go to the show but had some family shit going on. I have seen them quite a few times and they don't disappoint.
