serious bummer.
first seth, then the dude from jack ass and now this..
major bummer!
One of the best tones outta the 60s/70s. And a big part of it was an accident. Sunn sent him a Coliseum PA head instead of a guitar head. Of course, there the LP Jr., the super-wide vibrato, and the pinch harmonics didn't hurt.
Get well, Leslie.
Oh, that's too bad. Didn't know he was diabetic, that's rough.
He's always been one of my top 5 Rock guitar players.

indeed. every inteview i've ever read from him is very classy. he seems super humbled by the fact that they are famous and people still hold one of his songs up as a defining sound for a genre.
i dare say that "mississippi queen" is the "paranoid" of the US?
That's scary shit. Apparently Lemmy's diabetic, too. Must be all the speed and whiskey.
I was just watching videos of this man. Sucks. Loves me some Mountain.

i'm assuming its the 12 cokes he drinks every day with this bottles of makers mark and jack . . .
Also, West barely ever goes outta the blues scale (root position), and frets mostly with 2 fingers. He does so much with the most basic ingredients.
Respect.
Oh man that's a bummer as a fellow Diabetic I was aware that Leslie had been a type II diabetic but he had lost weight and I thought he had it under control, I guess it's never really out of the picture just lurking beneath the surface.
I've very saddened for him.
He has been a huge influence too me.
God Bless you Leslie

Really? why is that?
Because there is no fuking god and Leslie is a sane adult who knows this. duh
God didn't cram all that soda pop and pasta down his gullet...
...OR DID HE??
He's still an awesome guitarist
Don't forget the burgers...
