Where's Black Oak Arkansas?

In Black Oak, Arkansas   :D   We axed but they just played here in April and they only play like once every few years.

Anyone thinking of going...there's a LaQuinta a block and a half from the club, easy stumblin' distance w/ virtually no police hassles. The airport is like five minutes from downtown, everything's cheap here. The weather will be like Burma but so what? Club has sweet A/C... The whole fest is only 20 bucks, the club has food and those 24 oz. PBR missile silos are only 2.50.

Rebreather!

That'd be awesome if you could make it man ! It's C.T. from Rwake and new Downtown Music owner Samantha Allen who put it together, she was critical in making sure the bands were confirmed this time...(CT tried this with the club's old owner a year or two ago but it didn't work out)

Edit: Just got a reminder from C.T. that there'll be one-dollar beers from 2:00 to 5:00 each day.   \m/  (and the beer's already cheap: 1.50 for 12 oz PBR, 2.50 for 24oz)

Well, I'm fucking stoked!

Just booked my room and flight an scored the three day pass (what a fucking bargin!). I was jonesin' for a cool Fest like this since I wasn't sure if SHoD was going to happen and SXSW was happening at a time that wasn't panning out for me. Hope to see you and get to meet you and Dustin and all the other AK heads all proper style.

You got it, brutha, gonna be a big ol' time !!

You other mugs should at least consider going, it's a great bargain. Bands like Rebreather, Deadbird and Rue don't tour like they used to so this an increasingly rare opportunity to see 'em....20 bucks for the whole thing, the club's great, the city is cheap and easy to move around in, etc.
