Wasn't Evil Dead 2 basically a remake anyway?  And look who is attached to this one:

they're gonna spend twenty million bucks to make a flaccid stale piece of shit that wont even approach the brilliance of the original...which was made for , like, five hundred bucks and some sandwiches.  but bruce will make some money i guess...so that's cool.

with Rami and Campbell on board it might not be too awful. The first one was after all a commentary on rampant feminism, so maybe they'll make fun of that diablo cody chick and her stupid vagina.

Kind of a random remake I thought they were just going to make a new one.  Why Diablo Cody of all people either what a strange choice. 

Sam Raimi must be too busy on the World of Warcraft movie :d  If thats still in production.
