Title: Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro
Post by: Dave J on December 30, 2010, 07:38:22 PM
I saw one on Craigslist and am thinking about trying it out. From what I've read it could be good for classic rock stuff. Anyone here have info about this?  I need to trade up from my Studio.

Saw one on Craig's List here, too. Unfortunately, I have no personal experience with them.

Here's an HC Review:

And a couple at Ultimate Guitar:

You can get lots of great info at the Les Paul Forum; or if you can't find something about that guitar, ask them:

70's-style LP with Jimmy Page wiring. Can't go wrong.

I ended up going with a new 2008 Standard.  I got a good deal on it, and when I played the Traditional Pro it did not grab me.  I loved the coil splitting though.

Seriously. If $1800 for a guitar is a steal in his book you'd think he'd ditch that Bassman 100, at least for a fuckin black face bassman or something.
