Interesting how this came out around the same time as the new E-Wiz. I think this is far and away the best thing they have done, tightened up the song writing. Most of the songs are doomy with a good riff or two, similiar maybe to when Mark and Tim were in Electric wizard but Ramesses has a different sound especially vokills and guitar/bass sound not as dense. One thing stays the same, lots of samples. Need to dig out Misanthropic Alchemy to compare.
Got this from AllThatISHeavy store and it wasn't cheap but worth it in my opinion. Pretty amazing artwork in the booklet, as in WTF.
I love this album and like you I'm mesmerized by the artwork. Would love to see it in person.
