Title: pickups that pickup every milimeter of movement your fretting hand makes
Post by: liquidsmoke on October 19, 2012, 10:48:33 PM
Some do, some don't and it doesn't seem to be related to how hot the pup is either. I try to fret and move around on the neck as quietly as possible but damn. Anyone else notice this with some pups? My Super Distortion is quiet but it's also dark... ahh. Dunvan Invaders, not so quiet. Cheap bridge pup in the Epi flat top LP "Special II" I just bought for $60, not so quiet.

The Super D is dark, that probably explains this whole mess. I'm kind of more into pups that have more bite and cut now though.

I had Super Dist. 2's and they're brighter.

I think I read a bit about those. Are they hotter too?
