I have two envelope filters on my board now. The 3 leaf audio Proton is an awesome all purpose filter. I use the bassballs for more solo type of stuff because of how it cuts through everything else

The thing I like about actual wah's is I can do the fast and funky thing or I can rock them really slowly and get a bit of that flange sound with them.

Actually, I don't want to afford the wah's I'd like to try... and to add to that, I'm desperate not to upgrade to a larger board than I already have.
