Title: gear porn - or - I'm in love with a black lady and a redhead

I have a soft spot for Jazzmasters. This is why. Is there a sexier looking guitar body out there? I submit that there is not. Regardless of whether or not you dig the sound of these guitars you have to admit that shape makes you wanna put your hands on it.

I like these, too. Not a sexy instrument, but cool sounding. I dig the blade style HBs.

Jazzmasters are pretty cool, but kinda way too indie rock, which is not sexy.

I like my thunderbird. On a bass it's shape is tits, but the firebird guitars are only so-so.

I like those new Fender Blacktop series versions of the JM and Jaguar. Seems more like meat-and-potatoes versions, without all the little switches and such. Oh, and humbucks.

Yeah bummer that all those influential independent musicians of the last four decades of the underground music scene played those awesome guitars, not to mention the legions of surf rock bands. Les Pauls they ain't, but that just makes 'em even sexier.
