great album, the jack bruce bass stuff is killer!!
Agreed, the whole album is great but the title track featuring Jack Bruce and the opening Nanook/ Pancake medley are the standouts for me.
Ruth Underwood talks about the crazy marimba solo she did for the album;
My brother was into zappa and I never got it. it's all too complicated for me but some of the lyrics are funny. I'll give zappa that.
When I was a kid I liked the funny songs but over time I connect with the instruments - Jack Bruce you say?
