A lot of folks dig the Russian writers.
The classics get some love as well.
Of course David Bowie could only narrow it down to 100 must reads/faves.

IIRC Bono's favourite book is Neuromancer. Or one of favourite books.

Never listened to U2 but read Neuromancer dozen times :D

Wow, there's that guy in the list, John Darnielle (who I don't know) he speaks about Merce Rodoreda ... I learned about her some months ago because my neighborhood library is named after her, I've been meaning for a while to get something from her to read, and now it seems I must

That's when I need to know.  Drugs usually bring out the odd side of folks - little things that are normally hidden.
