Title: Roger Waters - 9/11 Barclays Center, Brooklyn
Post by: Submarine on September 12, 2017, 12:45:23 PM
I almost missed this show as I did not feel that $200 a ticket was reasonable. I was wrong ---- It was worth every penny and more.  Probably a top 5 concert experience of all time.
Sound was flawless, lighting perfect, video unbelievable. The setlist covered classic Floyd from 71'-79' and some tracks from his newest album.  My only complaint was not delving a bit further back into the Piper or Saucer albums.

The performance was flawless and the band can play hard.  Many of the songs had some artful deviations in the arrangements that made them sound fresh and brand new again.  Great Gig in the Sky was absolute genius with the 2 background singers doing vocal harmony gymnastics.  Welcome to the Machine added drums and went from implied doom into real doom.  Mind blown.  I would see this again.

The one I caught at The Palace was easily in my top 3. So good.
