Old Horror Movie Sample Clearance?

Does anyone have any experience independently obtaining sample clearance for horror movie dialogue? How did you get it?

Dude, you'll likely have to find your own way. I can't think of anyone that's ever done that before.  ;)

You could try emailing whoever is currently putting out the DVD version but if the movie is old and you aren't on a big label you should be fine.

Thanks. FYI there are at least two companies that specialize in sample clearance:

DMG Clearances, Inc.
The Music Bridge

These services aren't cheap. Sample clearance isn't cheap either.

Another alternative is hiring an entertainment lawyer, or DIY...
