I am seeing services like Tunecore, emubands.com, recordunion.com and some other stuff.  Any new experiences to share?

When we got our last Mass Driver cd made we went through diskmakers. They have an option for like $60 (I believe) where they will also distribute your music through cd baby, Itunes, Amazon, Spotify, and a few others.

We've sold some stuff through those services and I think that we've recently broke even on making the disks and everything else.

As far as the services that you mentioned, I don't have any experience with them so I can't comment.

My 2 cents is that I think that it's a good idea to get on these kind of music services. But in our case we've made more money off of our bandcamp site ( https://massdriverrockpower.bandcamp.com/ ) and our live shows.

PS our first three albums are free to download  on bandcamp  8)

Ampcast was awesome in 2001.

I switched to DistroKid from TuneCore. Better experience overall, though actually switching over sucked. Cheaper, too. Have yet to see any money come in from it beyond hilariously low streaming numbers, but it's nice to have our stuff up on Spotify/etc as a matter of principle.

Bandcamp gets way more traffic, though, and actually lets me customize things.
