The Tone King is an awful guitar player, and his tone generally sucks...

I'm going to buy and rehouse the HM300.

Holly shit this is Awesome!  Thanks Hemi, not only have I found my "Corporate Muff Clone" but I've found a ton of other groovy stuff I need to get my hands on.

Thanks

Oh man, I never even thought of Behringer when you asked that, but yeah they have Muff and Bassballs too  :D

Ranbat

Thanks for posting this. I remember over at the old board it was posted too.
Meh :/

hayseed

I used this list a lot from the old board. I even printed it out so i had a copy! I remember it being bigger....

Chovie D

found an old  (2005?) bassballs for $45 the other day at guitar center of all places.

Hemisaurus

I was going to post and ask if anyone had a copy of it, if someone thinks it was bigger, post what's missing.

beardofcthulhu

the HM300 will be mine.  Oh yes it will.  I'm even going to leave it in that hideous pink box.  ala the Thrashmaster.
Peace through volume.

DiscoFreq lists 78 models, we seem to have 76 on that list.

Hemi- I will look for my printout of that list. I may be wrong but i thought i printed out several pages worth of stuff. If i come across it i will add it up here. It is possible it was a complete product list too. its been a few years since I last looked at it.

BTW the Memory Man Clone is very cool as is the Boss Chromatic tuner knockoff.

Herb, putting a new switch into these is just like dumping a new switch into a Boss, right? Also, if I wanted to pull the board mount pots, and put decent ones in, the lugs would match up, right? I just don't like plastic. I do, on the other hand, love projects...

Also, shitbags, Guitarcenter.com's used gear... type in Behringer then click "price" so it brings you the cheapest shit up first... there's several of these for 10 bones.

... If you want as many of these as possible, for maximum amusement... craigslist ad stating you want to buy Behringer pedals. I know everybody has at least one. I've got two sitting in a box around here, hahaha.

Don't know what pots you'd be replacing them with, they seem to use PCB mounted pots that look like the trimmers that Tektronix used in some of their scopes. The lugs are all in a line ... on the board, so it would be easy enough to wire in new ones.

The switch is a simple microswitch like you'd find in a keyboard or game-pad.

Regular pots of the same value in a new enclosure. I'll mount the board somehow, and I'll dump the board mount jacks in place of box mount jacks and... a real switch. Hopefully the ratings are on the switch inside the pedal.

Still waiting for them to put out an affordable loop pedal....
The memory man is more of a delay, correct?  I'd like a 16 or so second loop...

Do any of these pedals use a tube?  I could also use a decent tube preamp pedal, actually, a dual tube pre would be the cats ass...

Hemisaurus

Nope no stompbox, though there is a tube DI / preamp, they make that.

$32.04 with free shipping from B+H. I've used them before and they did OK for me.

Thanks Hemi, that's what I was looking for, $35.00?!  Gonna have to grab one for shits n giggles.  Also looks like the Vintage Tube Monster has a tube in it also, but doesn't get real great reviews.

I'm going to buy and rehouse the HM300.

Hey, how about this as an idea for rehousing? Except you'd mount real pots on the case too. Multiple pedal box :D

Wow! I'd definitely find a use for that! DIY multi-fx ftw!
Somebody's gonna eat my pussy or I'm gonna cut your fucking throat.

Pundan

I'll never buy a Behringer pedal again. The UC100 broke within two days. I'd rather pay more so that the people who actually develops new pedals get a kick in the ass so that they'll make better stuff :D Behringer just copies.

Lumpy

I bought their version of the Boss DC2 Chorus Space (Behringer CC300 Chorus Space-C). The Boss original is out of production and sells for 150-200 dollars. It (Boss) was described as creating a subtle but beautiful almost 3D chorus effect, blah blah blah. There's no knobs on this, only 4 presets. In my experience, the Behringer sounds cool in the bedroom, but through an amp at volume, it was a little too "whooshy" and knobs would have been useful, to turn down the speed and/or depth, even on the most subtle preset. Even so, worthwhile experiment (better to waste 25 dollars than 150, and it's not even a waste - just not useful to me at this moment). Other people might like it more.

Besides the cheap plastic construction and flimsy feeling footswitch, accessing the battery compartment is stupid (take two pencils and press on the axis of the hinge. It's a pain in the butt).
