I've read a ton of memoirs in the last year or so. Anybody have any suggestions for good memoirs?

I really liked Open, which is Andre Agassi's memoir.
The fact that I kept setting my own boats on fire was considered charming.

Didn't Andre have basically the same relationship with Alcohol as EVH?   Something to steady up before performing from Age 12 or so?

I read Open. It was amazing. I was actually a pretty big fan of him and 90's tennis at the time so it made it even better. Dabbled with meth in the late 90's.

Just got around to reading Sing Backwards and Weep. Holy shit.

I don't think so, actually.  He got into methamphetamine later in his career, that's detailed in the book.

His main hangup from age 12 or so was his image and how it related to his self-confidence.
