(Are there any jokes you don't step on?)  :D

A lot of people fantasize about doing animation professionally. But in reality, it can get really really hard, and people do get fucked over.

You guys crack me up!

Lumpy is right though. That industry is pretty cut-throat. I like working on my own projects and stuff though. I am also writing a graphic novel too; That may take a couple of years though.

I actually was an animator for a while (and maybe again, who knows). 2D though, not 3D. And what I saw was that everybody wanted to be doing different jobs. The animators wanted to be art directors. The art directors wanted to be directors. The directors wanted to be producers. The producers all wanted to work on their own projects (and everybody else did, too). So why not skip all the intermediate bullshit? Start producing your own content. Leapfrog that whole process. Especially if you find the establishment doors closed to you.

Too bad you, Kojak and I can't come together and make a stonerrock animated feature. We got a cesspool of talent here.

The Conquistadors originally sailed to the Americas in search of the FOQUA bean to send back to Spain. Legend has it, they found the fountain of FOQUA somewhere in Florida and some of the of the Seven Cities of FOQUA in Mexico. It is also believed they found one great stone Obelisk deep in the jungle and noted that the few inhabitants of the ancient city were pretentious and boring. They were slaughtered and no FOQUA was found in the region.

Human Bat looks more like a devil, those are definitely devil wings.

If he's the Human Bat I would think he wouldn't have that chest mounted control panel and ....  Antennae. Is he going to punch a metal robot with his very human looking fists? Ouch. He could flaps is devil wings and try to disorient the robots...

The Brando-Robot has one eyeball. Forget about it.

With luck, that Brando-Godfather Robot will smash The (not good) Human Bat effortlessly. Conversely- with no depth perception -  robot flails around ineffectively before punching itself in confusion - only to self destruct.

Today is one of my least favourite saturdays of the year, Folk Festival locally and sodding Eurovision on TV.  Can't go out to the pubs for fear of encountering fiddledeedee music, bugger all on tv if I stay home. >:(  Might get drunk and have a shot at out Dong'ing Dong.

Was in a local shop earlier and the owner tried engaging me in conversation about the folk festival, I said fiddles make excellent firewood and that I don't really like scottish folk music.  A neighbour (lady in her late 50s) who I see regularly but have never really spoken to, heard this and laughed saying she agreed.  The shop owner asked what I do like, so I said Black Sabbath, Zep, Free, Cream kind of stuff since I guessed neither would have heard of HOF, Yob or Elder.  Neighbour said she'd seen Led Zep and Sabbath live, plus asked if I liked Rory Gallagher as she'd seen him live a couple of times.  Very quiet unassuming woman, would never have guessed she's a Sabbath fan!

I'll ask her husband permission first and will report back with details if successful.
