2020 release for the new Colour Haze? That's a bummer but been a great year of music for me so this will give me something to look forward to for next year.

Not sure about these but thought Rwake and Indian had pending albums for 2020.

Apparently they are on a new label called Holy Roar, which I'm unfamiliar with. But they mentioned a new album when I saw them recently. (No clue on the date.)

Graves at Sea have something coming out in 2020. Not sure if its new material, reads like it is an old recording of a show or rehearsal.

Also, Whores. have been in the studio so I assume that means we can expect something new from them to hit in 2020.

And I have stopped holding my breath for new OM. The moment that happens that instantly jumps to the top of the list of what I am most excited for. And maybe with the hiatus of Sleep that opens the door for a new OM album, but until I read something official from the band or label that would release it, I am trying not to think about it/hope for it. Feels like new OM has been rumored for the past years now.

Lichens told me in a hotel elevator at Psycho CA they (Om) were working on new material way back in 2015.   Who knows if they scrapped that now that he’s not playing with them anymore.   I presume the explosion of Sleep put it all on the back burner.

When I was having breakfast in Switzerland with Colour Haze he told me it was getting mixed and there was a place in Hamburg he liked to use cause it got the band out of their hometown.

New Six Organs of Admittance coming out in February. Companion Rises. Haven't been much of a fan of their newer material so not expecting much, but looking forward to giving it a listen with the hope of being proven wrong.

That Colour Haze news makes me very happy. Ordered the CD and was super tempted to also buy the download so I could listen to it on the spot, but I resisted the urge. Will just have to very impatiently wait for the CD to be shipped out and arrive.

I hope I can do it.

For Colour Haze, I want to hear it so I sprung for the Hi Res version, which also gives you artwork, flac and wave files. Was curious.   I figure I owe that guy a bunch of purchases since they were so nice to me.

And the LP, so I added in the new Duna Jam 2007 Live LPs.   I sort of have to get the deluxe version of everything in order to keep the collection going. I’m only missing CO2 in LP form and I got the two splits on EP.

Yeah, I couldn't wait. Totally caved and also bought the electronic download.

Downloading now....

Edit: Worth every damn penny. Best first impression of a CH album since All, which is only my favorite album of theirs.

Maybe it's timing as I have been on a Colour Haze kick for the past month or so, but this new album is blowing away my expectations.  Freshest music from them in a long time, probably this decade.

Album of the year. Easily, for me....and I haven't even given this thing 2 complete listens yet, but I know.

Yeah, with the keyboards and so on, it (Colour Haze new release We Are) has got a lot of new stuff going on. Dueling leads.

It’s musically dense with lots of dynamics and some quiet bits here and there. Heavy rumble and that explosive Keith moon drumming.

I like it!  It’s a release you can sit down and listen to end to end.

Track 2 is maybe their best song ever
Really cool album
I just bought the low rez MP3s because my hearing is far too damaged to be able to tell the difference, it's like when we used to buy my grampa the 2 buck chuck from TJs, the nice stuff was just wasted on him
