Was on a browse last night and came across http://yerasov.ru/ nothing too exciting, but I was impressed by the fact they provided schematics as part of selling the product (I also learned ????? means schematic) and the schematics are beautifully laid out and easy to understand. After having spent some time trying to figure out another Peavey schematic drawn like the boards are laid out clusterfuck they are a breath of fresh air. Also if you want to build your own tube preamp pedal, they have a schematic for that, check out the Pterodriver :)

Oh and I added in the Canadians because I remember Traynor published the Service Manual for the YBA online as well.

Here's the Traynor link.

Discontinued products at the bottom along with the Vintage Traynor section.
Friends don't let friends play solid state amplifiers.

VOLVO)))

I was going to post a link to Yerasov, those look like solid little amps.

Also check out FAME amps, seems to be an affiliate brand of equally rad heads.

When you say Fame amplifiers, do you mean the private label of the German MusicStore.de? Probably not, but just checking.

Exchange-wise they're no great shakes. 26000 rubles is around $950.

Ditto for FAME unless you know a US distributor?

I get lots of email from http://www.amplificadoresmeteoro.com.br/ they even have an interesting selection of bass tube amps.

None of them have schematics though  >:(

This one made me laugh, Electric Wood amps, wonder if this is something Joel gets after his little blue pill  :)

Now I got to go start Morningwood Amps. ;D

What? I found a bunch of places selling Yerasov in euro, for 350+. Fame is even cheaper. I feel like these will end up being our next gen sovteks. I wonder if they have voltage switches. 120/220 etc.

You do know Euro to Dollar isn't a one for one yet? I always though Bugera would be the new Sovtek, cheap Marshall, Peavey, Ampeg, Mesa clones.

I've seen Bugera's go, in dollars, for what they want in Euro for the Fame. What the heck is a dignified foundry, can anyone translate the orginal German?

The powerhouses from FAME are made in a dignified foundry in the Far East, which is responsible for the production of many of the worlds most well known manufactures.

Looks like they may have taps on the transformers, but no mains voltage selector. It depends, sometimes they use different trannies to meet different countries standards, so they get swapped out, sometimes they use the same one all round.

Interesting similarities ;)

Dig the toroid, wonder if thats for power or output. I wonder why more tube heads don't use toroids, I know Traynor does too.

I think we just found their dignified foundry for making FAME amps ;D

Hemisaurus

Slightly impressed, not quite Harry Joyce, but nice ;)

Sunn you missed their best, the GTA-200 a 200W simple crusher as it's been roughly translated. Can't find any info on it, but there is a YouTube video.

Your babelfish translation is about as good as any.  "dignified/noble foundry/forge in the far east" sounds like salesmen-ese for "chinese power transformer sweatshop."   :D
