Sorry, I was out workin'. I kind of gave up all of my bargaining power by telling you what I paid, haha. I'd feel like a dick telling you what it's worth and what I want (though at a drastically reduced price because we're pals.)

Multiple locations confirm 800 bucks for ones in similar condition. Gbase/ebay/guitar center. I posted it up on another forum with a buncha old timers for 750obo/negotiable. If you really want a guitar of similar fashion, but dont want the Price tag, Im sure I can dig one up...

One question, tho: Does it look to you like there was ever a screw in the top G/B/E tuner set? From the photo, I can't make out a hole.

Edit: looks like one side may have been replaced; the two sides are different.

Yeah, One side has been replaced. I have the original, it lost a tuner head at some point I guess. I can try to dig up a replacement head, or you can. They can't be too hard to find. When I get home ill post some better pictures.

Found out today that the Ibanez TBX150 head I thought I ordered wasn't actually on hand and the amp is back ordered with Ibanez for 2-3 weeks. I cancelled the order. There are 1 or 2 used ones floating around on the net but I might wait until I get my Randall sold and try the TightMetal at practice through my Laney before trying to order another one. Part of the reason I tried to order one of these is just to have a second cheap amp for comparison and for $225 I couldn't really go wrong.

You could also look into the Engl E 530 tube preamp to pair with the laney.

Damn good price although I know nothing about that model. I'll read up on it. Thanks. That's about $20 in gas and maybe 80 minutes from me.

edit: read some reviews, several people reported problems with it probably related to cold solder joints and what not. I think I'll pass.

I has a lot of features as well that compensate for the $. Like a 1/2 watt power amp for headphones and cabinets (could be good for low volume practice).
