gfs bass pickups?

Interested in this as well. Thinking of replacing the noise-making standard pups that are in now in my yamaha low-end p-bass copy with those GFS bass pups.

I put one of those in a cheap Cort PJ bass once and it was a big improvement! The bass seemed bigger and clearer and more importantly, the notes I played seemed to come out more defined compared to the woolly sounding standard Cort pickups.

This was in a cheap Cort bass though. I don't have experience with MIM Fenders so I can't tell you if they will also be an improvement in that bass.
