'Ti Punch

2oz agricole-style rum (aka rhum, Martinique AOC)
1/4 barspoon of Sirop De Canne (basically a very rich (80%) simple syrup made from Martinique cane sugar)
1/12 of a lime peel with just a little pulp attached
couple of small cracked ice cubes


I alternate between Neisson 100 proof agricole and a cachaça from Avua that's been lightly aged in amburana wood.

Somewhat, but nowhere near the amounts/ratios of simple and juice.
Daiquiri is 2:1:1.  This is more like 2:(0.25):(0.25).  Almost neat, and the rum opens up as the ice melts and evolves nicely as you work through the glass.

Whats the guide line on tomato juice mixer to water in bloody marys. For the longest i was making them way to thick. I ordered one in a bar i dont visit often and it was real thin watered down. I was put off at first but then i realized how much better it was thinner than thick.
