Dry Fitted the FAC OFFs!

All the FAC OFFS plus the new prototype pedal i got brewing up called Phantom Echoes (dual verb/delay)

The prototype pedal will have a graphic like this

Newest prototype amp in the works in the background

Its called the Stonehenge, 100W, 4 x 6ca7 (yes a truer 6ca7 too)

Modeled after an SL/SB or Model T type amp with my own little touches (mid shifting, always jumper-ed channels with Blend control), no presence only depth in the NFB loop.

oh yes, a cookie for the clever ones who can spot the mess up on the amp so far. No worries not even close to being wired up much so it will be fixed

As I'm about to spend way too much money on a Strymon Timeline and Eventide Space I'm very interested in your delay/reverb. What are they based on?

the verb is a belton brick based circuit, and the delay is a PT2399 based delay with max delay times around 400 msec. Its got a good analog feel, with a touch of grit on the delay

Great idea for a pedal, those effects go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly... there's maybe a few pedals like this, but plenty of room for your spin on it. IMO.

thanks, it all started out because some1 asked for something and then it came together as an idea. Nothing too crazy, decent price imo

Will there be modulation in the delay repeats or reverb?
"there's too many blanks in your analogies"

dunwichamps

as of right now, no. I had not thought of that and/or it was not initially requested

yesca

the dual reverb/delay is interesting. you should try making one based off the boss rv3

dunwichamps

this is also on my bench, another wizard

VOLVO)))

Price ov delay/verb requested.

now, is the depth control just the FAC? or is it some sort of variable resonance switch?

dunwichamps

FAC, i call the usual depth type controls resonance, thats the negative feedback based low end control in the power amp

It would make a huge difference to me and I know you could sell a bunch to the TGP forum guys with it.

sure no doubt, is the idea to add say chorus to the repeats/decay?

fallen

Just do a version with a TRS jack in the feedback loop. Then you can add modulation or EQ or drive or whatever you want to the repeats.

I run my analog delay with a volume pedal in the feedback loop so I can go from mellow repeats to full on oscillation.

Yeah it gives them more depth and space.

that's actually a really cool idea . . .

arent 6ca7s like upsidown potion bottles. or just another 6l6 wannabe

a true 6ca7 is a beam tetrode like a 6l6 but it made to be like an EL34 with EL34 voltage ratings. They are a good balance between the two tubes

Right on, they're getting closer.  :)
