Its in the oven. Ive never had success with turkeys. always too dry.
I jammed some butter under its skin, seasoned it up, stuck a meat thermometer in the thigh,  and popped her in there covered in foil at 325.
I used to baste, not sure I will this time ...meh, guess it cant hurt.
I probably never let em rest completely either, hopefully this year i wll be able to.
please dont be dry!!!

my gut is exploding...but prolly not salmonella, just ate too much. finally did a decent gravy and bird was moist.

somehow i managed to fuck up instant stuffing...
guess i didnt put in enough water or something. threw n a pound of sausage and we didnt even notice the dry breading anymore.

Three thanksgiving meals in three days.  Oof.  Eating the last slice of leftover scratch made pecan pie for breakfast right meow.  Pie for breakfast may be my favorite part of the holidays.
