RE maple it's all imported here and probably comes from North America.

RE the economy, yeah it's pretty fucked but not really any more fucked than the US. Same problems too, too many banks getting too big of bailouts. Although we'd probably be fine if a previous corrupt government hadn't given away a huge wealth of our natural resources..

Now back to talking about guitars.

ha I don't know any Luthiers called Noel. Perhaps that's why it's so cheap.
