I tend to keep an eye on ridiculous eBay sales for fuzz pedals.  This one takes the cake.

grimniggzy

why isn't this in the hot deals thread? :D

NoSleepTilSleep

I'm guessing this dude means Robert Fripp not Gilmour... The buzzaround was sort of Fripp's thing for the first 3 KC albums..... Still fucking retarded.

Baltar

Gotcha, the seller's ID is PinkFloydsomethinrather.

Hemisaurus

So a shade under $12,000 per transistor, what a bargain ;D

Hemisaurus

If anyone wants one, I can be commissioned to build them for a mere $10,000 and I'll even throw in the battery ;D

I would however require a 50% deposit before any work was undertaken.

grimniggzy

glad to see a builder who will do something to help out all those who want the tone but can't hack the price.
way to go hemi, lookin out for the lil' guy like that.

If you really cared about the customer, you'd supply a nearly dead 9v to get that starved sound people crave.

The Shocker

It certainly is clean.  I skimmed the listing, but how does the seller certify who's pedal it was when he won't even name the guy?

Yeah, he obviously wants people to think Fripp or Gilmour, but it could just as easily be some guy who no-one has actually heard of, that this guy is deeming a 'legend', and who made a couple of albums, a couple of guys in my dad's old garage made some albums, but they certainly weren't legends.

So fuzz pedal, owned by some guy in the 60's, who made a couple of prog rock records.

The scary thing is, someone will buy it :-X

thats Jesus version 2.0 man, I am talking about pre-resurrection Jesus, back when he was kool before he sold out

Hemisaurus

Judas was the guitar player, fits the character. Gzus was the drummer, Simon Peter played bass.

Dunwich sponsors Judas man, esp on his solo stuff, I Left the Jesus Band and All I Got Was Thirty Pieces of Silver

So Gzus don't own no stinking fuzz pedal, plus the whole problem of transistors being invented in 1925 kinda fucks up your claim ;D

jesus is a time travelling mofo, he is not bound by time and space, neither was his pyschadelic music.

Plus your date is not entirely correct in that sense that a transistor didnt physically exist to 1947 even tho schematics had been drawn up in 1925

Baltar

Damn funny responses.  That $1500 Big Muff has been up for weeks.
