im gonna be completely honest
im broke
i just spent 150 on pedals and accutraments
plugged them into the mustang and it blows farts
i put it on most of the thosand clean settings and kerplunk
thats what i saw people sayin in the fender forums as well
so im tryin to trade it or sell it for a clean basic practice/bedroom amp
already got $200 spent this wknd on bigger rigs that are goin to the space
but cant dial in my pedals at home
so im in a jam for the moment
its agood amp for what it is
but if you just bought two new pedals and were told you could only use them once a week
and had to stare at them  while playin around wtith blah digi fx
"fuck this noise" is what im thinkin
its a good amp for someone who has everything else

Have you tried the bog standard, 3 knob practice amp? Made by some company you've never heard of? I picked this one up for $25 in a pawn store. Takes pedals, and the overdrive switch makes this nasty Weedeater tone at low volume. No modelling, no tubes, but it has a headphone jack. I use it for my bass too.



Peavey Rage is also a very good on-brand practice amp.

that's exactly the guitar in exactly the finish i was looking for in exactly the price range i was looking for about 3 weeks ago. when i spent about a month and a half waiting around for something to pan out somewhere and it didn't, i decided i should buy a car instead.

Get a Peavey combo on Craigs List (search 1x12 in the music gear section). Should be something under 100.

If you want to spend a little bit more money, get a Epiphone Valve Jr. combo.

You're not trying to make your Fender sound like a raging beast, right? It's for low volume playing. Probably not loud enough to jam along with the stereo. But if you need something quiet that won't disturb the neighbors...

Designed for guitar but I'm sure it could work fine for bass too. It's the precursor to the VH 150.
