Agreed, nor are they all that vintage. I thought they (or they reverb rockets?) were discontinued in 2001/2002 or something? Still nice, but a buck fitty less would be nicer.

Hello Music has the EQD Rainbow Machine today for $169 + $10 shipping (-$20 if you're a first-time customer, so $159 for me.)  I jumped on one for reasons I can't really justify other than "I hope I'll use it" and "I love EQD."

If memory serves you have to be a 'member' to buy, where membership entails being spammed twice a day with updates and so forth. But in case someone is in the market.
