also, there is no cumin, cilantro, or oregano in guacamole.  no herbs or spices whatsoever.  the addition of these items turns what used to be guacamole into an entirely different dish:  gringomoley

Sounds straight. I googled cumin guacamole. It might work but I never heard of cumin in guac, nor would I want it. Should be Fresh and crisp mix. Cumin would weigh it down, man.  Sounds foreign. Is Cumin used in Mexican cooking?

edit; Shaft, it's your 3rd ingredient ? I will try cumin in a batch.

ok. very workable. A Oaxacan chicken taco is hard to top! I love my ground beef too hotter than heck, several forehead towels for sure. And an egg on top (tex mex?)

cilantro is great but is not atda ingredient in guacamole and for me, it ruins it.

RAGER

Nothing wrong with just lime, salt, avo, and tomatoes either.

Mine's close to RAGER's but no tomato. And I finely cut red onion & squash the garlic because I'm handy with a knife.

Add me to this list.
Not much of a cilantro on anything fan. Too much of a dominating flavor that I don't enjoy that much to begin with. But if you dig it, knock yourself out. Just warn me before I start dipping.
Thanks!

The lime or lemon juice replaces salt. You really don't need salt.

Also, upon further review, cilantro doesn't belong in there. And neither do jalapenos.
