Yeah that one. ;)
It looks to be Galdalf's guitar, the one he built after he started wearing white. I'd play it.
The Pawar is the only one I really find interesting. The others are fine but pretty standard fare.

Both that one and the Pawar were made in Cleveland, Ohio USA

Bought new pickups for the LP DC standard. Ohhhhhhyeeeeeah.

The only other thing I've done to it is remove that sticky poly finish off of the neck. It was horrible.
Nothing else is planned right now. I rarely play it but keep it because my brother painted it for me.
Hey Asshat. Wanna peep my guitars. Suck it bitch. > Show us your guitars yay
I see what you did there.
I thought only Mods or OP could change titles. Much abuse to come. ;D

One on the left is the one I play when I don't play bass. The blue one is my son's that he rarely plays, the Ibby is my daughters that she probably hasn't touched in 4 years and the blue Yamaha is what I kinda strum sometimes when I'm feeling like a hippy.

no drilling
they are flush mount so they cover the hole
electrical tape in space between until i fashion something

Good timing on this thread. The old lady is out of town all week, so my other guitarist and I have been taking advantage of that to do some guitar tracking for our next record, and drink a bunch of beer. At the end of last night I decided to snap a quick pick of all the guitars strewn about:
Tele on the couch is mine, the strat is a rental because neither of us own a guitar with a trem and we wanted some whammy sauce on one song, other tele next to it is his, all the ones on the wall are mine: Tokai Love Rock, Dillion Firebird set up for slide (high action, open E), Gibby SG, Martinez 12 string, Yamaha acoustic
Not shown because it is at the jam space currently... 81' Greco LP
(http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f59/chille51/IMG_0235.jpg)
There's also a cheap Mandolin, cheap Banjo, and cheap lap steel kicking around somewhere.
Dig the Firebird! Always wanted one of those.
Yeah, I dig it. The only problem is that the mini humbuckers SCREAM with feedback anytime you stop playing, if you've got any kinda gain or reasonably heavy tone setup. Even swapped them all for a GFS set but the problem didn't go away. That's why it's a dedicated slide guitar these days.
Left one is the 1987 MiJ Ibanez RR-250 in pretty bad shape. I bought it for about 250 bucks. I use it for my shitty black metal bedroom project.
Right one is cheap vietnamese SG copy w/ GHS 13-60. My sludge guitar.
I think there's 2 or 3 missing........ :-\

A buddy of mine has 2 of yer guitars in one, it's a goldtop Ibanez Artist. That thing is to die for.
From left to right:
Ibanez single pickup baritone
"Esprit" strat copy
Tremblay 4 string lap steel
Fender Stratocaster USA
PRS SE Custom
Lei Lani lap steel
Gibson SG Special
Epiphone Korina Explorer
I would not recommend the Ibanez, it plays nice and the neck is a nice shape but the maple neck combined with the big headstock, the smallish lightweight body and the double cut design makes it neck dive like crazy. There's a pound of fishing weights in the control cavity and it does nothing.
The Explorer is Korean and the wood is crafted amazingly well, really high quality. The electronics and horrible stock pickups were easy enough to replace but this guitar is just too big for me to get along with. Doesn't sit right on me and I keep hitting doors and stuff with it.
I play the two strats, PRS and the SG the most. The SG is ok, the neck is maybe a bit too fat and it flexes a lot but the P90 sound is worth it. The strats both play awesome. The PRS is the real surprise. Korean again. The stock pickups sound great, plays awesome, stays in tune, electronics are good. I thought I would break a lot of strings on that wrap around bridge but somehow it's fine.
The cat's name is Jenny. Had to sneak into my shot.

No not me. Bought mine new a long time ago. Was doing a lot of downtuning at the time on a Les Paul copy. The Ibanez was good for that, simple and intonates properly at super low tunings. I'll do some work on it this weekend to see if I can get it to balance out.
Tried moving the strap button to one of the neck bolts and now the guitar sits perfect. Huge difference.
Just need to hit the home depot for a screw with a some extra length to account for the strap button.
Good tip. Thanks justinhedrick.

My one of a kind broke neck Gibson EB0

I'm working on getting a Hondo endorsement but their fax number doesn't work.
Send me that EB0. I may be able to save it. Unless it's a failed previous repair. that's a metric fuckton of work...
I work for Beta Basses : D
No previous repair. Pretty nasty break. I tossed it onto my drummers kit for the sound of it. Asked Gibson out of curiosity as to what they would charge....about 2grand to replace it. So now I am scavenging eBay for a similar bass and will swap out the neck. Once I do that I will send it your way...
Naw, you got all the pieces of the break? You can't just "swap" a set neck out, it's way more involved than that, and worth way more than what Gibson quoted you going that route... If you have all the chips, and shit, I can save it and you'd have a hard time noticing it was broken...
Furthermore buying a new one + the labor would put you well over two grand, again.
It could be spliced fairly easy, matching the finish would be the clusterfuck part. I've never done it, but I'm about to start work on a Studio with a similarly bad break, that'll be my first splice.

Love that Longhorn with P-style pups.
I think I remember that Hondo Longhorn from the old forum? Reid from Deadbird/ex-Rwake has a battle-scarred one, heavy as hell but still sounds great (he probably switched pickups x154 times)
Lewis, go with Sunn Jake. He knows his shit & does good work.

I don't use the acoustic very often though, it's very entry level quality so it has tuning issues from the fifth fret and higher it gets even worse.
I'm going to swap the bridge p'up in the SG for a T-Top replica.

siiik
Thought you sold some cabs?
Jake... DAMN!! (it would be nice to see an SG there).
Jake can you take the picture again showing all the heads too? Lovely collection of guitars but needs an SG or two...
Is it the "turd lighting" that makes your tele necks look so different?
Got the ACC 8x10 last fall on clearance new from GC for (I think) $275. An SG would be nice but the ornery in me kinda hates Gibson right now and for the foreseeable future. Besides, I'm pretty sure the SGB I have in the middle there is a superior instrument and eases the urge. That said, don't think I haven't been looking on eBay for Tokai, Burny, Greco, or other MiJ SGs -- because I clearly have issues distinguishing need vs want.
Yup, those Tele necks are indeed different tints. The Warmoth is a much more yellow vintage tint. Gold star, eagle eye!
It looks a little garish and "Gear Page-y" with all that shit, so let me qualify it a little. Everything that's pricey was either bought a long time ago or on the super cheap – and only through much flipping of other gear. Plus, I haven't had a car payment in 7 or 8 years and refuse to pay $100 (or whatever it costs) for a cell phone. You'd be surprised how much fun stuff you can get by saving $300-400 per month that way.

Welcome home, dear friend. Welcome home.
I've been on a pretty strict diet of p90's lately.
Apparently, I don't know how to post photos. Computers are hard.
Is that a Troy Van Leeuwen model? Nice! I've heard the most expensive part of maintaining those is all the Hugo Boss suits you have to buy to be able to play it.
Yeah, it's getting really expensive. Everytime I play it I have to primp for like 2 hours first. I actually really like it. Thankfully it doesn't have his name anywhere on it. Definitely not bought for fanboy reasons, just like the 3 p90s and bigsby. Needs a roller bridge though.
(http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b69/Incarante/DSCF1464_zpsd4dbd652.jpg) (http://s17.photobucket.com/user/Incarante/media/DSCF1464_zpsd4dbd652.jpg.html)
Just arrived. I should try it thorough all my amps before I decide the pickups need changing.
Switch out those Rockfields, they are absolute garbage. That guitar needs Super Ds. What'd you pay for that?
I found some powder coated black covered super Ds for the one I modded.
Thinking of P90ing it, buckers are boring, avoid doing standard stuff to guitars, already got an EMGed SG that's great, but in a mundane sort of way. Paid £160 delivered.
Nice score there Mr. Foxen. Our singer/guitarist in Cold Mourning picked up one of the higher end exotic wood Mockingbirds a couple years ago, he swapped the pickups out immediately. The Rockfields sounded pretty weak. He pretty much just collects Mockingbirds and puts Invaders in the bridge position on all of them though.
Hey foxen, what's that amp above the orange combo?
Looks like a Carlsbro 50
Its a 100 Top. Partridge iron. Scruffy, but a really nice amp.
Just the way I like em
I feel like a chump now for how much Foxen paid for his Mock. :-\

The Good:
- Neck is not as wide as I thought and comfy.
- No sustain issues as I expected.
- Not too heavy and not too light.
- Tuners/bridge are actually decent quality.
The Bad:
- These p'ups suck. I need some Super D's or Super D/PAF combo stat.
- Nut job is needed
- Some frets need some filing.
Otherwise, not bad. I think once the p'ups and tuning issue is solved, this baby is going to be awesome.
Those Rockfields are god. fucking. awful. I didn't even keep the ones I've pulled out of those, they went straight to the garbage can. Those Reissue Mocks aren't terrible, I can't deal with the cloud inlays, or the stringers, though. I like my metal guitars to be plain, and classy. Really like the U-series BC Riches...

My other Mock, 86 USA Neckthru, Kahler'd, recently put some white super D's in it.
U series! That is the term for the Japanese imported BC Riches.
I understand the 'classy metal' axe look. Unfortunately I am not metal enough anymore to use those guitars with pride so the natural look seems to fit me better.

I wish I could find those knobs that they used on these.
Those are pretty easy to find, if you want, I can put a word in to a buddy who could sell you some, more than likely?
Some of those B.C.'s are fuking hideous. Eeeesh. You're not Blackie. :D
I'd prolly play one of those natural Mockingbirds with some T Tops and some speed knobs though.

You may have seen this bass before if you like Cathedral:

Those knobs are much cheaper from less specialist places: http://www.kh-audio.com/e-productinfo.asp?id=1276
Cool piece of music history (to me!) and a cool bass. I love the Eagle basses. I keep trying to find a late 70s one, but the timing is never right. I had my Drake Custom bass done in an Eagle "inspired" shape.
If you find a right time, Lorne of various forums should be able to point you at one.
Lorne is unhinggggeeedddddd. Jay or Allen Searls, or Tony from black fucking cancer is who you want.
The bcrichplayers forum was my previous home, whilst in limbo during the "void times." Some shit went down and I didn't like who got fucked in the wake of it, so I defected. The admin and mods are shady, and crooked.
does that mean I have to throw those 3 cathedral albums away?
New pickguard.
Feeling very Thin Lizzy.

Har Har. Yes, in 1989 while inventing grunge in an Olympia, WA basement, I was a skinny girlyman.
You did it? Do the Melvins know that?
yes, I let them know.
My current rig. 1986 Ibanez RR-250, 2013 Skervesen Custom V6, Cube 15X, MT-2, Little Big Muff.
Only things i need are EHX Holy Grail, audio interface and some bass guitar.
And I'll be happy man.

Don't think I've put a photo of my Wishbass on here before, so here it is:

You ever injure yourself on that thing. It looks dangerous.

Im the best friend ever
Wishbass looks wicked. How does it sound?
Sounds like those hifi coffee table basses wankers play slap on on youtube. I need to route it for a neck pickup.
Hey, your Wishbass almost looks like a normal bass (I've seen pics of some that are hilariously ugly).
Normal bass with a knot hole through it and bark still on it.
All crossed up

Looks great.
When I sell my sg copy I must grab a cheap precision bass, probably a Squier or some old Korean one...
Thanks, thats my USA P but I have a Squier Classic Vibe Precision and it is a great bass.
