Considering the high energy described in the forum post, do you think Zoaraster's live shows deliver an even heavier sound than their albums? What specific elements do you believe contribute to this discrepancy, if it exists?",

Dnice if you ever get the chance to try Block15 Sticky Hands I think you'd be a fan. Block 15 is my favorite brewery. Corvallis Oregon. They self distribute and are very particular in how their beers are handled and stored. You'll never see their fresh beers on an end cap in refrigerated. I've heard them pull accounts due to improper storage of their products.

It's a 3/4 way through fresh hop season here and I've lost count how many I've had. In fact I'm going to walk about a mile to a little brewpub and have some more this afternoon I think. Beer and exercise.

had recently, probably the best single IPA I've had to date. collab with the very good boutique Obercreek brewery in Hudson valley NY. funky hop combo and they nailed it.
Widowmaker Brewery has steadily become my favorite brewery in the country.

Check out the Chrome Peeler Rec distro @

ANEURYSM - "Awareness" CD
Catchy grunge punk rock from Boston. Low-end punches with crisp brass tack drums that crunch the big riffs forward in a twisted scuffle of whatever you think post-hardcore is, rolling in the dirt with the innards of sludge punk and a bit of disfigured metal. Cover art from Mark McCoy (Youth Attack)

SHIFTING - "It Was Good" LP
Aggressively heavy minimalist noise rock from Ireland! Massive, bottom-heavy undertow from the rhythm section with angular AmRep barbwire guitar on top. Dissonant-but-tuneful, biting, catchy and lethal, an essential one for those of us that like our rock elephantine and distorted. RIYL: Shellac, Jawbox
