this is the last great grand funk album
all the others after e pluribus sound more like the doobie brothers than the railroad
i didn´t forget - i just couldn´t remember...

After this one the word Railroad stopped appearing on the album covers and Mel's bass stopped being bong rattling, this was truly the last great one, the last one produced by Terry Knight and the end of an era.

Pretty much all down hill from here.  Though We're an American Band was a solid album, the fuzz and bong rattling bass were gone forever.

Which vocalist did you like better from GFR - the guitarist or the drummer? Both were very different.
