Have the album done as is, will def clean up a few things prior to digital release for sxsw.

Mock up album cover, made on my iPhone, using pics I took with said iPhone.

Two possible back covers:

Danny,  congrats on the small stone gig for South by Southwest!  I saved up my vacation days and am going :)  I did not buy a pass or anything but will pay cover when necessary for good bands.

Let me know where/what the lineup is for Small Stone Records and when your band plays; I know the venues and band lineups are constantly changing though ;)

SS showcase is Friday 3/14 at Lit Lounge on 6th Street. Ocean of Stars kicks it off at 8pm \m/,

There's also this, which I am abstaining from promoting on FB as sxsw is cracking down on official showcase bands playing non-official showcases...

Cool man, I'll be on the lookout for ya \m/,

The split with ETB was as amicable as it could be, just time for me to move on and do my own thing (Ocean of Stars).

I fill in on bass for Gian about once a month, so I still play shows with them semi-regularly

very cool brutha

ET is awesome but your bass playing in that band was killer, I remember seeing you just going off!  you had the wireless bass setup and so did ET and yall were playing like super fast

hope you get where you wanna go with Ocean of Stars, it sounds great!  I recall these Ocean of Stars recordings came from a past RPM challenge if I am not mistaken :)

I just found out one of my co-workers is doing/did the RPM.  Completely removed from me, I just overheard him talking about it.  I'll have to listen to what he did.  Thought that was cool.
Vinyls.   deal.

Danny G

That is cool. I know few if any people who do this, and I highly encourage everyone to.

Spent my day off finishing the album, best I can under the circumstances. Redid a rhythm guitar track for one song, added my first recorded appearance as a slide player in another. Used my Epi Valve Std here at the house.

Also redid a lot of the bass tracks. Mic'ed my little GK bass combo and sounded fine. Didn't even use my pedal board out of exhaustion/laziness. Kept the original raunchy first pass plugged-straight-in-using-on-board-distortion-preset for two others.

Now just gotta remix the whole darn thing. Pretty happy with it in general.

And with a digital release if I need to remix anything I can update the tracks(s) on bandcamp page

That is funny, I just sold my epi valve standard last month, and I have a GK bassguitar combo!  hmm...

Congrats on your first gig with Ocean of the Stars!  Glad I got to see that and say hello to ya, great chops on guitar and nice tone out of that Marshall JCM 800 vert input halfstack  ;D

Danny G

Thank ya sir!

Upon further review my lil bass combo is a Trace Elliot
