#3) posted by noods on face bukkake origanally an it got me to pondering about amp+fiddle+hands= X differs from amp+fiddle+hands+(delay and/or verb)+boost+(distortion or fuzz)+modulation=Y.

I like this no smear approach to guitar. My drummer likes the Fu but when I dial in the Fu tone he thinks it's all wimpy like.  So, then I turn up the grind and he approves, think average metal band. Then, I get contemplative and notice a gap of perception between the people who can discern tone6 from metro.  What he likes is the pop song writing appeal of Fu, think Journey. You know what, I think I'll start a Pantera-esqe metal band in Dallas.  That will be original.  All I need is a shitty singer.
