i use a VTM 60 and a peavey power amp. Drummer is going to let me try out his Peavey Deuce tonight at practice.

I had a Peavy T-15 with the amp-in-case. It was pretty cool, sold it in a time of need. Wish I hadn't now.

Have 2, love 'em both, but would reeeeally love to sell the Supreme. VTM is the best thing since....the Mace.

I actually have it on my right arm, around an anchor, thank you. It's right next to my "If I were Rick Allen..." tattoo, the real kicker is I have "Hug Life" tattooed on my stomach, with the Snuggle Bear under it.

Love the VTM as well as the Butcher. Most of my amps have been Peavey. I once bought a Crate 120XL head instead of a Supreme. I always regretted that decision. Currently I'm regretting selling my last Butcher.

Yeah, I can see a homemade bodge job in his future, I can't see him wanting to spend $200 on a new headshell, but carrying around the whole combo to put on top of a 4x12 will be a pain. Weber's looks like the real thing, but like I say $200 for a headshell won't be in his budget

Unless Peavey do replacements much cheaper.

It's a PCB amp, obviously. There are some things that could be done to make it a brick shithouse, but right out of the box, from what I understand, they're pretty reliable. Supposed to be great mod heads. Sounds British as fuck. I played one dimed to death in BEST BUY of all places, and it wasn't ungodly loud, but it would certainly hold it's own. I'd say a set of new tubes, for a stock one would probably do it well. I'll see if I can dig up the schem, I'm sure Herbie can point out any potential clusterfucks. It's a pretty generic pre-circuit from what I gather, in my limited knowledge. There's all kinds of shit that can be done to beef up, or buffer sounds. It seems like it'd be kind of static-sensitive. I'd be a little hesitant to poke around in there without a static mat...
