Thanks!  This was my first attempt at this type of thing. It took about 10 months looking for just the right parts and scrounging up the dough for said parts.

So my lady got me a mandolin as a belated Valentine's day gift!!! :D

Ibanez M510. Really nice student-model

Day one I learned "Copperhead Road" by ear.

Yesterday I learned "Battle of Evermore" and a bluegrass turnaround via YouTube lessons.

Today I was researching how to properly intonate it (YouTube lesson), and in the process broke a damn string. Got new strings then consulted YouTube on how to change them.

Provided my WiFi works properly, I should be playing gigs with it next week hahaha ;)

I've already looked into pickup kits for it \m/,

I'm sure someone makes a mandolin P90.

The wifey went nuts and bought me a Volca Sample for my birthday this year. I don't deserve her.

Hagard

You have an awesome wife.

Picked this up for my kid.. A brand new in the bag Zildjian 22" K Custom Dark Ride. Right place right time kind of deal. He's not ready for it yet, so it's a future birthday present. I'm pretty stoked. One day I think he'll love it.

Results of a two year project to upgrade sound and lights.  Not exactly my gear, but my project.

CID Vicious

Sold my reworked Bronze Series Warlock. EMG's, factory case, refinnned top and neck...$150..,

And bought this beauty. Like the last $130 old heads tock LTD series SX J just waiting for me. End of an era...Rondo only has kit level basses, Jags and a Douglas P anymore. Guess Xaviere/GFS and Squier are too much...or the late headstock is too ugly :

One of the best looking warlocks I have seen, that one.

Thanks!

It was kind of a quickie job, so the edges got rounded. I think Rich should offer a smoothie variant like that. The agathis took to gunstock stain nicely.

I'd snag another Bronze in a heartbeat. Shred machine. Great home for EMGs as the wood tone is just ok anyway. It'd have to be a Mockingbird though...the WarCock was just never my style :D

My JCM800 is on indefinite leave until noted otherwise.

I have finally succumb to a months-long really bad case of SG fever.

1992 '67 SG Custom reissue in oxblood. Someone loaded it with Fralins along the way, so I will not feel bad about Scotchguarding some of that crazy yellow out of those covers.

PS: I got it for less than a stock, off the shelf '15 SG costs, so SUCK IT Henry.

poop.

Here's a goofy fuckin' picture my old lady took of me with my new bass after I set it up yesterday. I'm in love with it. Ibanez BTB TerraFirma 5.

It's weird, it's ugly, it's intense, it's perfect.
