Here is something I recorded a few years back.

I aint much for mixing and mastering, so excuse the bad quality.

Here is my favorite song that I have done, it's called sunny day

Is that just a freejam? Holy shit. Tight as hell.

There are certain loose sections where changes are left up to the member who leads the part, but it's fairly well planned out.

da_qtip

A co-worker and I jammed again with the mics up. We noodled around to that Sail song by Awolnation, then I added some bass overtop after. Got them half time shuffles going.

Plus I'm using my new HHX Heavy Legacy ride. It purdy.

Whore and Lippy sightings in the same week? Noice!

^^^ Put up a page of new rough demo'd songs/riffs/sketches (mostly for my bandmates to grab and mess around with at home and such). Just stuff written during the last week or two.

Some semi-interesting footnotes:
Wasn't Listening was written during a marathon Tele bridge intonation adjusting. Thanks, marijuana.
• You heard right – the Prior Restraint ending riff is almost a minute long each time through. Thanks, marijuana.
Fangboner is named after a road in Ohio. It's also in 13/4 timing. Thanks, marijuana.

Well - I have to say - almost every tune on that page reminds me of Rebreather - haha... which to me, is a good thing... Esp Vapor Cave and Wasn't listening. Nice.

Edit ~ Gotta love the River's Edge nod.
"There's alot of people heeeerrree?!!"
Last night I heard the ghetto bird circle.... as I was eatin' fish.... and watchin' Erkel...

We're starting to record the demo for Warp Rig. I made a little teaser track with some clips of what we have so far. Just a rough mix of drums with scratch guitar and bass tracks, recorded over last weekend.

Thanks, hopefully we get it finished soon. I'm swamped with other recording projects in various states of progress at the moment. I'm really glad we spent a lot of time working on our tones in practice, it's made recording really easy in that aspect. The guitar and bass tracks are completely unmixed in that teaser, just raw scratch tracks of the tones we use while practicing with a single mic on each.

most recent written & recorded, I spent a while thinking it needed a proper intro/outro and potential bridges etc but then I thought I like the punky simplicity of it, its just a bit of fun  ;)

NOT me.

However, the last thing I posted was from when I filled in wth this band in the absence of their bass player. Again, this is all self produced at my place in Boise. So yeah, peep my buddies' tunes. Free download if you enter $0 also.

edit - Thanks for the kind words about Fried Egg. I am quite proud of what we three jackoffs did in one month.

Cool sound, really tense. For some reason it makes me think of the soundtrack to a Hitchcock film, with the intensity cranked way up.

^ I dig that Jem, sounds very unique, I'm not even sure how to classify it which is a good thing.

I finally got around to putting Cubase on my recently purchased computer. This clip is just me noodling around to make sure it works.
Three quick passes, Some minimal tweaks, save, export, done! Lots of Warts!

I just got my Wizard Fuzz from Nick at Dunwich Amplification, so I made some demos on guitar and bass...

Jake

Cory, that sounds crazy good.

For guitar, I really like door number 2 and 4. Also, 3 sounded pissed. On bass, 4 was my clear fav.

(I was counting the dry as door number 1).

Thanks, glad you dig the demos man. I'm way into the pedal, I got it for guitar but I was actually really impressed with how good it sounded on bass too. Nick from Dunwich is knocking it out of the park with the stuff he's releasing. I'm looking forward to getting the pedal tourbox, I'm going to be making in depth demos for everything in it. He's also just getting started on an amp build for me.
